Biography

Senuran Muthusamy is a left-handed batsman who can also bowl some left-arm orthodox spells. Hailing from Durban, the southpaw made his First-class debut for KwaZulu-Natal in 2013. After his debut season, he shifted to the Dolphins team for the following year. The 2016-17 Sunfoil series was the turning point of his life after he smashed his career-best knock of 181 against the Knights. In the same series, Senuran bagged 27 scalps and ended the series on a high note. The stylish left-handed batsman has been one of the standout performers for the Dolphins in red-ball cricket for the last few seasons. Being a multi-dimensional player and providing enough balance to his side, Muthusamy was named in South Africa's Test squad for their series against India.
